Hi

My first post!

My blog (from blogger) is ranked on second position for a particular keyword if searched within quotes. The search results for the same keyword without quotes is around 2 million (my blog is one out of them). I need to find out the exact position of my blog on searching without quotes so that I can keep track of its position (up or down). How do I find it out? If I have this information then only I can assess the improve in rankings, and the outcome of my efforts.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, thanks for joining us. Sorry for the late reply.

The best way to see how your website ranks in searchengines is by using Googleranks http://www.googlerankings.com/

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply

However, the links says that valid google API is reqd, which is not being issued to new users. The Google PR can easily found from prchecker.info or prchecker.net, but what I am interested in finding on which my site displays (may be out of 1800000 search results) as it may not be possible to mannually search each and every page (particularly if the site falls below)

Thanks once more

The page GoogleRanks does not tell you the PageRank it shows your position in search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN and ASK. This is the best tool to check your search engine ranking (not PR).

Tell me your website address and the keywords you target and I will tell you your position. Can also e-mail them to me if you wish marcklein1973@yahoo.de
